Every time you stop using your chainsaw to refuel, check the bar oil too. It tends to get used up at approximately the same rate as the gas. Also, when you add bar oil, be sure to lube the sprocket at the front of the bar (most chainsaws have this sprocket). You can get a special grease gun-type container for the sprocket. Just stick the tip in and squeeze the container until the grease comes out of the sprocket.
